We have identified that this is a much-needed logistical framework that will help further professionalise New Zealand’s burgeoning fine art industry.
We are thrilled to be getting up and running after starting construction of our Onehunga facility in November. With 24/7 monitored security, a climate-controlled environment, and optional insurance protection, Artlink is set to become the premier facility in Auckland for specialised art storage.
We also intend to become the go-to enterprise for all your art transport, installation, and packaging services.

How Do I Store My Art Professionally?
One of the observations that led to the development of Artlink is that far too many artworks in this country are stored in substandard conditions.
This even happens with culturally significant pieces – we have seen works by leading artists including Colin McCahon, Rita Angus, and C.F. Goldie stacked in hallways and spare bedrooms, some even stored in drafty, damp garages! It’s enough to make anyone with a love of art to break out in a cold sweat.
For an artwork to retain its best condition – and its value – it needs to be kept in conditions that limit risks from UV light, fluctuating temperatures, dampness, mould, and pests. For higher-value art, security is a must. At Artlink, we cover all of this with our industry-leading facility. We will store your art in optimal conditions, ensuring its longevity.
