Pricing

Pricing is based on a number of factors.

While we do have work with standard metrics, pricing for storage can vary considerably depending on size and complexity of artworks, the urgency of your situation, and the length of storage. The following pricing guide is intended for approximation only; these figures do not constitute a quote. Artlink’s pricing is subject to regular review and occasional change.

Standard Prices

  • Framed Art

    Paintings/framed prints/photos to be stored on racking are charged by the square metre at $40+GST/month/m2 with a minimum charge of $25/item/month.

  • Unframed Art

    Unframed items are $10/month per item sized A3 or under. Over this size, prices vary.

  • Crated Objects

    Crated objects are charged by the cubic metre at $165+GST/month/m3

  • Insurance

    Insurance is charged at 0.75%+GST of the artwork's value per annum. For example, an artwork valued at $10,000 will cost $75+GST/annum to insure, or $6.25 +GST/month.*

  • Discounted Rates

    If you are storing more than 10 items and/or for 12 months or longer, discounted rates may apply at Artlink’s discretion. All charges are billed monthly.

Insurance: Please Note

* Insurance with Artlink is optional. If you choose to insure your art with us, we will add insurance costs to your monthly invoice. If your existing policy covers your art for offsite storage, it’s possible that you will not need additional cover from Artlink. Artlink is not a registered insurer or insurance broker.
